We investigate the threshold sharing schemes and function sharing. Informally a (t, n)-threshold scheme is a way of distributing partial information (shadows) to n participants so that any t of them can easily calculate a secret, but no fewer than t participants can determine any partial information regarding the key. However, when - at least – t participants calculate the key it will totally be revealed and no longer be useful. Function sharing is an idea of sharing a function of the secret through participants, who will reveal a function of their shadows when needed. Therefore, an authorized set of participants will be able to reveal only a function of the secret.
